The French Winophiles: The Great Bordeaux Adventure

“There is nothing like a comfortable adventure to put people in good humor” –  Peter Mayle

This month The French Winophiles journey brings us to Bordeaux, one of the most famous wine regions in the world. The Bordeaux region consists of 38 sub-regions and 57 appellations. Narrowing a wine selection to a single bottle could prove to be quite the adventure. Cabernet, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Cremant, and Sauternais will tickle the palate and empty your pocketbook. The lure of Bordeaux wines may seduce you to book a trip to the 2016 Bordeaux Fete Le Vin June 23-26. Until then, join us November 21st for our Bordeaux Adventures. Share your wine, food and travel adventures by emailing your title to culinarydiva@icloud.com by Tuesday, November 17th.

  1. Love this. Especiallly because I was just in Bordeaux! My favorite is the Graves, both the white and red. By the way, just a heads up – you have a typo with your first “Bordeaux.”
