Martin Yan's East-West Gazpacho

- 1 - 28 ounce can tomatoes, undrained
- 1½ tablespoons thinly sliced ginger
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 small red bell pepper, seeded and coarsely chopped
- 1 cucumber, peeled, seeded and coarsely chopped
- 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro leaves and stems
- 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon oyster flavored sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- fresh cilantro sprigs for garnish
- In a blender combine all ingredients except cilantro for garnish. Turn blender on and puree until smooth.
- To serve, ladle soup into chilled bowls and garnish with cilantro.
